Whether you have 100 donors or a 100,000 donors, the key to sustainable growth is creating an efficient system of being personal with all of them. I work with you to create your custom major gifts strategy (scaled and portfolio driven) and outline opportunities to move those strategies forward.

You may have staff with great talent but who need some direction from a skilled and experienced practitioner to acclimate to the system and learn moves management.


By contracting the strategy service, you have the opportunity to extend services for up to 3 months of staff coaching wherein I advise your administrative staff on scaled actions and up to 2 major gifts officers (or appropriate staff) on moves management within their portfolio.


Through weekly working coaching sessions I help guide your talent in building relationships and achieving their portfolio fundraising goals. Portfolio coaching sessions are always real time working sessions - we cover strategy and high level issues to start and then dive deep on individual constituents in your portfolio to prepare for outreach/communications.

Through a 2 month process I will analyze your constituent data (current and prospective) to help prioritize both scaled and portfolio driven actions from a tested menu of best practices. Includes a consultation and staff interviews to understand your goals and staff capacity, and strategy/feedback sessions where I provide suggested portfolio division (prioritized) and lay out a calendar of initiatives to achieve your scaled and portfolio driven opportunities.



By contracting the strategy service, you have the opportunity to extend services for up to 2 months of gap support. This service is ideal if you find yourself between major gifts officers but need to move your fundraising forward. I will work with your administrative staff on scaled outreach, as well as either 1) guide and provide organized cultivation communications to a designated senior staff member for your prioritized portfolio(s) or 2) directly manage outreach and communications to an appropriate portfolio of donors.
